Gift Idea Sweet As Honey

Today I am sharing with you a simple and “sweet” gift idea for this Holiday Season…

I wanted to come up with something practical and inexpensive that would work for a lot of different ideas and “occasions”.  I think this would work well for a Christmas Gift for a Teacher or a friend or as a neighbor gift with a fresh homemade loaf of bread (or store bought if you feel so inclined).  You could also attach a gift card to their favorite store or restaurant to make it a little more substantial!

To make these, all you need is a pretty jar and some honey.  I wanted to add this cute honey dipper.  I have always wanted to use a honey dipper.  Do you use one?  Anyways…I just love the extra touch it gives to the gift.  Then simply attach the stick and the label to the honey jar with some jute twine or colored baker’s twine.  I did add a little bit of scrapbook paper with the label to give it a nicer look and glued the tag onto the yellow scrapbook paper…but you can leave that and attach the tag as is too.  I would print the tag on a white card stock so that it is sturdier.

Make sure that your jars are sterilized and clean before adding your honey.

I tried to make this so that it wasn’t “christmas-y” so that it could be used all year round for birthday gifts, etc….and who doesn’t love bread and honey?!
