Are your kids obsessed with making slime? Today I want to show you…
How to Make Glow in the Dark Slime
…with this simple and easy Slime Recipe. My kids ranked this as one of their favorite of our summer projects so far. Even I was enjoying playing with it. It is simple enough that the kids will be able to make it by themselves and will provide hours of entertainment!
This Homemade Glow-in-the-Dark Slime Recipe does not use Borax. There are some recipes that use Borax to make slime, but my kids tend to have sensitive skin, so we chose to go with the slime recipe that uses liquid starch.
You can find the liquid starch in the laundry aisle of your local store. If you are having a difficult time finding it, you can always pick it up from Amazon here.
Elmer’s Glue (white or clear)
The slime will actually glow in the dark. Do not add any other coloring to the slime or it may interfere with how well the slime will glow. Add several drops to the slime to get it to glow really well!
And of course, I always like to make a pretty label for things. This slime will keep well for up to a couple of weeks if stored in an air-tight container. To print the labels, simply click on the link below.
