This past Sunday, our children were given a sweet little Christmas Gift from their Leaders. They are the group of women who are responsible for organizing and overseeing the Children’s Primary Church Classes and their Singing Time. I teach the children in our church the music during our Singing Time. These four women collectively came up with this adorable gift and I just LOVED it so much!
They gave each child and their teachers one of these sweet Chocolate Nativity Gift sets. I got permission from them to share it here with you. They used this Chocolate Nativity Mold. I realize that Christmas is so soon that you will not be able to get it this year in time…but they might sell them in a local baking store. You can also save this idea for next year to use! I know I will be using it next year!
They had used a different manger image that was found here from Activity Village. I felt it would be best to share my own image due to copyright. So I just drew this manger and turned it into a printable for you to use and print out for your Nativity Gifts.
If you still would like to use this idea this year and don’t have the Chocolate Nativity Molds, you can make these sweet Nativity Finger Puppets and use those as a sweet little gift idea. Or you could make some wooden dolls into a little nativity set.
A sweet and simple Christmas Gift Idea that is easy and inexpensive and that helps us to remember the Real Reason for the Christmas Season!

Do you have a rough estimate for how much each one of these cost? It is such a cute idea… I wanna do it for my Primary kids this year! Thanks
The Idea Room Assistant says
I don’t, our Primary Leaders made them. Sorry.
I just can’t get past the “eating” baby Jesus (feel the same way about crosses at Easter)… they are adorable! Thank you for adding the finger puppet idea as a replacement ;)
You are welcome.
Just ordered this mold. $4.90 and free shipping. So excited to make this project! We have quite the support staff with three boys on the autism spectrum, this will cover everyone!
That is wonderful!
Just ordered my mold…thanks so much for sharing!! Is there a printable manger without the wording?
I realize this is an old post but I’m trying to make these – how do you stick the chocolate to the card?
I don’t think they were stuck to the card. I think they just placed them in there. Great question!
Ok I was trying to get them to stick with some of the melted chocolate but that didn’t work
Very creative ideas you have shared of making nativities by own. This is something which is very new and those who love creativity will surely go for this. Thanks for sharing these wonderful ideas.
