If you follow me on FB you might remember when, a few weeks back, I mentioned that my friend Mandy and her husband had tragically lost their beautiful 20 month old son.
Many of you expressed their condolences and offered to pray for this beautiful family even though they were strangers to you. Mandy and her family have faced their heartache with courage, strength and faith.
Mandy shared with me that she felt an overwhelming need to share their story with others and so she created a blog named Sunshine Promises. And with her permission I would like to invite those of you that are interested to follow along with them as she shares and documents their up and down struggles and emotions through their new and difficult journey.
Mandy is such an inspiration to me and I know that many others will be inspired by her story. I would love it if you stopped by and sent them some love and encouragement!
You can also follow along by joining her site at the bottom of Sunshine Promises.

I've known Mandy and her family all my life. She truly is an amazing woman! Her blog is so touching and inspirational.
My heart goes out to her and her family. I'm ashamed to admit I can't bring myself to follow her blog. I'm so glad there are so many love and supportive people who can read her stories and share her pain but I am not one of them. It's too sad for me. I'm not that strong. She is lucky to have the church. I grew up in it and have seen so many families endure this kind of tragic loss. I will never know how they became so strong. I wish her family fast healing and lot's of fond memories.
Where was the tissue alert? Such a sad story but I'm glad she is working her way through the grieving process.
