With school fast approaching (yikes!) for most of us and a few already back, I am feeling the pressure to get more organized and orderly for the upcoming school year. Two years ago, I designed a bulletin board that would help us be more organized with the kids activities and homework, etc.I did not take pictures of each individual step of the process because, I was not documenting every little thing I did back then :)! So I will explain it to you as clearly as possible. My hubby and I bought ... Read More about Kids Organizing Bulletin Board

Summer Boredom Buster
"Mom, I'm BORED!" Has anyone heard this at your house yet this summer? I was tipped off to this fun idea by one of my readers, Letti. Next time, I will remove them from the stove-top sooner than I think they need to be removed. Ours was too thick and not as smooth as finger paints should be. But that was totally my fault. The kids did not care that they were a little thick, only my OCD did! Here is how you make them: 1/2 cup cornstarch 3 Tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 2 ... Read More about Make Some Finger Paints
Cake Pops
Cake pops are all the rage right now. Here are a couple different versions of cake pops. My sister made these amazing turkey cake pops for the kids at our family's Thanksgiving Dinner. They were a hit! Even the adults wanted to get their hands on one. She found this idea over at Bakerella. My sister decided to make them again, but this time she made them for her in-laws to enjoy at their family Christmas get together. She found the instructions at Bakerella also. My sister took these ... Read More about Cake Pops
