Aren’t these party drinks fun? I recently saw these adorable drink jars via Pinterest. Ummm…have you heard of Pinterest? Serious eye candy! You can find me on Pinterest here if you are interested and I can send you an invite to join if you would like as well. But, be warned, it is very addicting! Anyways…I digress!
I saw these fun jars who are originally from Nicole Hill on her blog, A Little Sussy.
I thought it would be fun to make something similar.
I simply took some pint mason (Kerr) jars and washed them.
Then I took a screwdriver and just pounded a hole into the middle of the lid with a hammer.
Then I took some cute scrapbook paper and cut out circles as big as the lid to cover up the ugly lid and poked a hole where the hole in the lid was.
Filled it with some lemon and lime slices and our favorite pink lemonade and of course, plenty of ice.
Super easy right! I love how fun and festive they were! And the girls LOVED drinking from them.
Wouldn’t these also be fun for your next Girls Night Out or Shower? And the best thing is that you can use them later to can your favorite summer produce (after buying some new lids of course) or save the jars and use them for your next party!

Adorable. I love everything about this!
I love anything to do with jars, so I’m loving this idea! xo
I love Pinterest and the cute mason jars!
Love this idea! I have a ton of canning jars in all different shapes & sizes, & can’t wait to try this! Thanks for the idea! ~MK
I think I saw somewhere that you could just use paper, without the lid. Maybe not as practical for little kids. Or you could save your old lids from last years canning to poke holes through. They are so cute!
Those are cute but I’m afraid my kiddos would drop and brake them :)
I want, in a super intense way, to drink lemonade from a jar. I don’t know why I want to so bad. And I don’t know why I haven’t done it yet. I am crushing on the ones with limes in them. Such a pretty color combo. If I come over can we have lemonade out of jars? It will seriously make my life feel more complete. (PS….still willing to steal the girl….she’s gorgeous!!)
What a cute idea – and so simple too!
If only they weren’t glass.
I need an invite to Pinterest please.

so cute!! Of course I’ve seen the jars used as glasses before, but not with the paper lids. That is super. Cute!!! I love little touches that are extra special and brand new. Thanks for sharing. I’m too scared to open the window to Pinterest. I have enough online haunts that suck my time. :)))) haha!

I just came to know you blog and love it! Thank you for all of your thoughts and ideas. I would love an invite to Pinterest as well. Thanks!
Soo gonna try this out for my sweet sixteen :)
So fun! Happy Sweet Sixteen!
This is such a stinking cute idea!! My daughter’s 10th birthday sleepover is soon and we will just have to make these as a take away goodies. I can see using a paint pen to put their names on them as well.
Greenmunch.ca has the cutest little Daisy Lids for a Mason jar. Even better, pop a Paper Straw in your drink for an extra splash of colour!!
It’s truly very difficult in this full of activity life to listen news on TV, thus I only use the web for that purpose, and obtain the most recent information.
You can also get a fiskars 1/4 inch hole punch from the craft store for the hole. The straws fit perfect.
I fell in love with this when I saw it. May I ask what you used to stick the scrap book paper to the jars? Did you use just regular glue? I just ordered 2 dozen jars to use for my daughters 1st birthday party next weekend, I only plan on letting the adults use them :)
You’re very creative. I love it! How do you create all those adorable patterned labels on the tops of your jars? Do you make them or buy them?
WOW just what I was looking for. Came here by searching
