Let’s talk about one of the dirtier sides of being a parent…the trash. I am not sure where all the trash comes from…but we seem to create a lot of it at our house. Every time we do a major overhaul on the kids rooms to get them spic and span…you know…mom’s standard of clean…I can’t believe the amount of trash that can accumulate.
I was given the opportunity recently to try out these Glad ForceFlex OdorShield trash bags with Febreze. I was challenged to take part in Glad’s “Five Day Odor Claim Challenge.” I was up for the challenge because I was tired of dealing with the smelly trash that 7 people can accumulate. I also get tired of reminding the kids to take out the trash when it is their turn. I figured it would be easy to let the trash sit in the kitchen for a few days…because if momma doesn’t take out the trash…or bug someone to take it out…it usually doesn’t get taken out.
I do have to say that I did have to restrain my husband from taking out the trash though…he is pretty good at helping out around here.

On the third day, I decided to clean out the fridge just to truly test how well this trash bag hides odors. I added a few scary items that I dug out of the vegetable drawer.
