I am starting to obsess over adorable cupcakes. I’m sure you have noticed, but cupcakes are the new craze. They are everywhere and presentation is everything!
This gorgeous homemade tiered cupcake platter stand is incredibly easy and inexpensive to make. Are the lights going off in your head?! I know! So Simple!
Buy 3 plates. 1 Large (serving plate), 1 Medium (dinner plate), and 1 Small (dessert plate).
Also buy 3 Sunday/Parfait Cups. Flip One Sundae cup over and place the largest plate on top. Vwalah! A perfect cake stand!
Keep stacking and stacking…
Fill…
and…
Watch them…

Disappear!
I’ll claim that cutie!}
Here is a seasonal twist on the idea. Put ‘Fake Presents in between the layers’ for a Christmas Holiday Serving Platter!

Love the cupcake stand! Way to go ladies! You have a wonderful site!:)
Great idea on the cupcake stand.
FYI – the link to HowDoesShe.com doesn't seem to be working.
And thanks for the great idea. Cupcakes are HUGE right now. Even brides are using them for their wedding cakes. Now I'm headed over to HowDoesShe to check out your post, Amy.
BTW- The links at the end aren't working.
Such a cute idea! I love your blog and visit often as a lurker :) but I do have to admit that it is a little annoying that in order to click a link on your page It makes me leave your page instead of having the option to open it in another tab– I understand not wanting your pictures stolen but it seems most are watermarked? I don't know if you are able to change that but I'm sure I'm not the only one that it drives nuts– keep up the amazing posts though- I love them.
I've seen this idea bounced around and I love all versions! I'll get right on it. :)
Beautiful cup cake stand!
love How Does She and I absolutely love your idea for home recorded books on tape. my kids live for books on tape, I never even thought of it. THANK YOU!
Looks great — but how do you make the stand not fall down? Would super glue be the right choice?
