MMM, MMM, GOOD! Can't wait to make the Orange Julius. Your son did a good job :)
Thanks for the Orange Julius recipe! We still have them here in Canada at all of the malls so it will be fun to compare!!…and those cupcakes look fabulous!
Yum!
My son really enjoyed taking a foods class in school too…and he still likes to cook & create new recipes.
I will be making the orange julius today! :D
wow – looks great, nice to have a great kitchen assistant like that ;-)
Your son is going to knock the socks off of his future wife. :) I'm voting for him having a recipe blog. I'll be a follower! :)
My husband would love this Orange Julius…maybe I will make it for him this weekend :) Thanks for the recipe.
Growing up we used to add an egg. I don't know why a raw egg would be good but that's what we did and we used only sugar. I am excited to try yours out. I also have found my old recipe for German pancakes from the days in home ec. My kids love them and they are packed with protein…win for me.
That looks delicious! I think I will make this for my kids when they home from school.

That looks perfect for all the upcoming hot weather. My kids are so excited the ice cream trucks started making their rounds yesterday, he he.
Love kids who cook, especially boys, AWESOME. Bella :)
Mmmm..we still have them in our malls – and they're so good. But, might have to ship this up and test it out! Looks yummy!
hmmm…my twins must be taking the same class. they got the recipe from school and have been making these for a few weeks now. yumm!!!

Oh, THANK YOU!!!! I {LOVE} Orange Julius, now I don’t have to pay an arm and a leg for one, or go to the mall!!!! Thank you so very very much!!!
I don’t know what it is about Orange Julius, but I can never get enough of it. If I could, I probably would end up buying 5 large’s. Can’t wait to try this recipe!!
I am going to make the Orange Julius this morning for my hubby- he LOVES them. I was just wondering how much it made. Enough for two people? Can’t what to try it!!
Love, LOve, LoVe when my kids cook. My daughter started a cooking blog to tell about her journey in learning to cook. If your son would like to share recipes check out icantoooocook.blogspot.com. The blog has been great for our whole family because now each of girls have taken a day to cook and my requirement for menu planning and cooking has been cut in half.
I just made these with my kids and OH MY GOSH!!!! So stinking YUMMY! You were so right, they do taste just like the ones in the mall if not better. Thank you so much for the recipe. I think we will be making these way too much for here on out.
I love Orange Juliuses…when I was a kid it was one of the recipes I first learned to make, and we made them a lot! Yum!
this look so yummy!
Can you change it to strawberry?
Sure. You may have to experiment a bit to get the flavor right. But strawberry sounds delicious!
We have 2 orange trees. I would like to use orange juice from the oranges. I suppose I would need a completely different recipe. I wouldn’t need as much milk or water.
Bernice- How wonderful that you have orange trees. I would love that.
I was the strawberry julius fan! The “secret” ingredient in all of them is meringue powder. Try it and see if you don’t agree!!
Lauralli- I will try that. Sounds amazing!
can you make this with regular orange juice and cut out the water/
Jennifer- Yes, that would work too!
This is so refreshing! I don’t usually love orange juice but I always love orange julius.
Katie- It really is so refreshing!
One of my family’s favorite drink! We use a lot of orange juice, so we always have ingredients on hand. We make it often!
Natalie- My family’s favorite drink is this one too!
These are so fun to make & taste amazing!! My kids love them so much. We’ve even added some strawberries in there.
Kristyn- They really are so fun to make!
