I am a huge sugar scrub fan! My previous sugar scrub recipe did so well, when I was asked to contribute to The Idea Room I knew I needed to try another recipe. This one turned out to be exactly what I was hoping it to be!
I got the idea to mix eucalyptus and peppermint because I ordered those scents as air fresheners from my favorite air freshener company Bel-Air Co. and used them at the same time. I loved the blend of eucalyptus and peppermint! These air fresheners are 2 for $7 or 3 for $10 and you literally cannot go wrong. (Plus they’re cute.)
I bought these little containers from Amazon and I feel like they were made for this exact purpose. They are that perfect.
The Sugar Scrub Recipe
- 1 1/3 cup White Sugar
- 1/2 cup Coconut Oil
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 5-8 drops of your favorite essential oil (I mixed eucalyptus and peppermint)
Simply mix all of these ingredients together. That’s it! This will expire approximately 3 months after you’ve created it.
I am so in love with this combination. It is such an earthy and uplifting scent. It smells clean and fresh so it’s perfect for right before bed or when you’re about to start your day!
