HALLOWEEN POTION BOTTLE LABELS
I shared a bit of a sneak peek on my FB page earlier about some of the things I have been working on for Halloween, and am excited to be able to share one of them with you today. I know…..Halloween is a ways off, but it will be here before we know it and I like to give those of you some time to CREATE what I share so that you can enjoy them in your home too! My kids get to enjoy all the holidays…way too early…haha!
HOW TO MAKE TEST TUBE HOLDER FOR HALLOWEEN POTIONS
And of course, I wanted the test tubes to stand upright so that you could see them nicely. I took a 2 x 4 board and cut it so that I could use it as a test tube holder.
Then I took a 15/16ths drill bit and drilled holes all the way through the board every 2.5 inches. This will fit most of the standard test tubes. You may have to double check and make sure the test tubes you use will fit and if not, use a different drill bit to get the right fit.
I then sanded and stained the test tube holder with Minwax’s Jacobean Wood Stain. If you don’t want to stain it you can paint it with black paint.

HOW TO MAKE HALLOWEEN POTION NAMES LABELS
I created some Printable Halloween Potion Names Ingredient Tags that I would love to share with you!
- Download the labels to your computer.
- Simply print them out on white Card Stock paper and then punch them out with a 2 inch round punch (I use this for a lot of my printable labels) or cut them out with scissors.
- Attach them to the tubes with some baker’s twine. Or glue them onto the test tubes or potion bottles to create a “sticky” labels. I use a glue stick and it works great. You can also use matteMod Podge.
- They will wash right off if you want to remove the labels when you are finished with them.
