Laces For Love

I don’t normally post about personal fundraisers or adoption on my site for many different reasons…but I have put that all aside in this special case for one of my dear friends.  I have had the privilege of knowing this amazing family for several years and have found my life and my children’s lives, interweaving with their entire extended family. 

My friends, David and Amanda Wilkinson, are looking to adopt two children via a domestic adoption.  After struggling with some infertility issues and the tragic loss of their 19 month old son, the Wilkinson’s have created Laces For Love.

Laces For Love was created as a way to raise funds for the adoption process as they try to add a couple of beautiful children to their family.  To learn more about Laces for Love and to see how you can help, they are looking for the following:

There have been several people who have stepped up and helped out the Wilkinson family.  There are also several drop off sites for shoes if you have any that you would be willing to donate.  For participating cities you can check here.  Also, the Burt Brothers Tire Stores in Utah are offering collection bins through the end of March.  To see the locations of their stores see here.
