Create and personalize almost anything with the Cricut Joy cutting and writing machine. Perfect for simple and quick creative projects.

WHAT IS THE CRICUT JOY?
Cricut Joy works with Cricut Design Space software on your phone, tablet or computer. The small design allows you to keep your machine out on your counter for easy everyday access. The small machine is also so easy to transport so you can craft with friends or on the go!

WHAT CAN CRICUT JOY DO?
Cricut Joy has a small, fine blade that cuts paper, vinyl, and Infusible Ink materials to create endless projects using the simple Cricut Design Space. You can use your phone, tablets or computers to create your projects with their software and then create with your Joy machine. You can also swap out the blade for a compatible pen or marker to write or draw!

CAN I USE OTHER CRICUT MATERIALS WITH THE Cricut Joy?
Cutting Mats: Due to its size, you will need to use specific Joy mats. But if you are using Smart Vinyl and Smart Iron-On, you won’t need a mat to cut the materials. They just slide into the machine and no mat is needed. If using other vinyl and iron on, you will need a Cricut Joy mat and it will need to be cut down to the proper size.
Blades: The blade and housing are different so the other Cricut blades will not fit into the Joy’s housing. The Cricut Joy only cuts with the fine blade that comes with the machine. You can use a Cricut Joy pen, but will need to remove the fine point blade and replace it with the pen.
Materials: Many of the materials you can use on the other machines will also work for the Cricut Joy! If you have standard iron on (not Smart Iron On), you can cut it to size and use it with a mat in your Cricut Joy. Same with adhesive vinyl. Card stock and other materials that can be cut with a fine point blade can also be used!
CRICUT JOY AND DESIGN SPACE
When using your cutting machine, make sure you select the proper machine in the drop down menu in the upper right hand corner. This will give you all the proper guidelines you need to make sure that your project is cut according to the correct settings!

You can also connect your machine when you initially set up your machine and it will connect to your machine through the blue-tooth settings! This is so nice not having to worry about connecting a cord and makes projects a breeze on your phone and tablet!

WHAT CAN I MAKE WITH CRICUT JOY?
The sky is the limit of things that you can make with this little Cricut machine! If you have a simple project, it is nice to be able to quickly create it with the Cricut Joy. Here is a list of some things you can make.
- Personalized iron on for shirts, hand towels, onesies, and other gifts
- Organization labels for all different areas in your home.
- Vinyl decals for mugs, dishes, phone cases, and home decor
- Wall decals and borders
- Wood signs
- Throw pillows
- Birthday and thank you cards, banners, and party decorations

I quickly created three different iron-on projects for my girls and I! With just a few minutes and supplies we were able to create these three different shirts and took a plain shirt and made it more fun and personalized. Simply use already existing images in Cricut Design space or upload your own! It’s a fun way to create with your family while we are spending more time at home!
