The Makers of Clorox have come up with the Clorox Ick-tionary as a way to help parents change the way they talk and feel about messes by creating a new vocabulary around life’s messy moments.
In an earlier post, I shared some of my kids “ick” moments from when they were younger. My kids are older now and we still have many “ick” moments… just different types of “ick”. Lately my kids mess tends to revolve around their rooms, shoes, clothes and most recently…food as they are learning how to feed themselves.
can’t tell you how many times I find un-identifiable food spills and messes hidden in the dark recesses of the vegetable drawers and on the fridge shelves. All sorts of “Fridge-a-mortis” in various states of decay.
“Fridge-a-mortis”, which according to Clorox’s Icktionary is the liquid in the bottom of the vegetable drawer that hardens over time.
