Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Cookies… Need I say more?
I. Like. Cookies…Do you?
I think they are probably one of my favorite ways to enjoy a little treat. I like that they are so easy to make and most are ready to eat in under 30 minutes or less. I also LOVE that they are so many different cookie combinations you can create depending on what you are in the mood for.
I like them best warm and gooey! I also like that you can limit yourself to
1 or 2 or 3 to 4 depending on how good of a day you are having. (Some days require double the chocolate). They are the perfect snack in my book!
These Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Cookies are delicious! They are also so easy! I have shared some Red Velvet Crinkle Cookies here in the past if you are interested in those. I made these with a Red Velvet Cake Mix. I usually always make my cookies from scratch because I like to know what is exactly in them. But every once in a while, I opt for the ease of a Cake Mix Cookies. If you prefer to make them from scratch, there are several different recipes out there.
I simply took a Red Velvet Cake Mix (mine was Betty Crocker’s but I think most will work just fine), and then added 4 simple ingredients to it. They couldn’t be any easier really! And…I like that I don’t have to mess with red dye… We almost always try to avoid dyes…but every once in a while we will make an exception…like Valentine’s Day!
Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 Red Velvet Box Cake Mix
1/3 cup oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chocolate chips (we like semi-sweet)
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat eggs and vanilla together.
Add the oil and the boxed cake mix and mix together until fully incorporated.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Drop the cookies in balls onto a greased cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
And I had to make some cute Printable Valentine’s Day Milk Bottle Labels because who doesn’t love a cute label? I will be using them for our annual Valentine’s Day dinner with the family. They don’t have to be used for just milk bottles. Print them out and use them as a cute gift tag or to leave someone you love a sweet little note…or pop them into the kids school lunches! There are so many ways you can use them…and I know many of you use the saying “i love you more” in your own homes with your loved ones!
As always, these labels are for your own personal use. Do not re-sell or use them in your Etsy stores or on your own sites. Thank you!
