RED VELVET COOKIES
Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Cookies… Need I say more?
I. Like. Cookies…Do you?
These cookies are probably one of my favorite ways to enjoy a little treat. I like that they are so easy to make and most are ready to eat in under 30 minutes or less. I also LOVE that they are so many different cookie combinations you can create depending on what you are in the mood for.
They are best warm and gooey! I also like that you can limit yourself to 1 or 2 or 3 to 4 depending on how good of a day you are having. (Some days require double the chocolate). They are the perfect snack in my book!
CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
These Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Cookies are delicious! They are also so easy! I have shared some Red Velvet Crinkle Cookies here in the past if you are interested in those. You can make these with a Red Velvet Cake Mix. I usually always make my cookies from scratch because I like to know what is exactly in them. But every once in a while, I opt for the ease of a Cake Mix Cookies. If you prefer to make them from scratch, there are several different recipes out there.
RED VELVET CAKE MIX COOKIES
I simply took a Red Velvet Cake Mix (mine was Betty Crocker’s but I think most will work just fine), and then added 4 simple ingredients to it. They couldn’t be any easier really! And…I like that I don’t have to mess with red dye… We almost always try to avoid dyes…but every once in a while we will make an exception…like Valentine’s Day!

They look delicious Amy!
Made the Red Velvet Chocolate Chip cookies, GOOD!! The dough was “sticky” and thick but, they turned out so GOOD! I’m taking them to work for Valentine treats, instead of buying candy! Thanks for this site! Also made the Chicken Taquitos and Creamy Tomatilla ranch dressing, LOVED it!!
So happy to hear that!! Hope you continue to enjoy what we share here! xo
OMG! I’m making these right now.
WARNING!
The dough is REALLY thick & sticky. My mixer just quit & started smoking! Going to try mixing by hand. Hope they’re worth it.
Love looking at all your yummy recipes do you have any that don’t use eggs. My kids have many food allergies and using egg replacer doesn’t always work in recipes. Thank you for sharing…
Just finished making these and they are SO yummy! The only problem I ran in to was that the dough was super thick and sticky so it was hard to mix. I think next time I might put the dough in the fridge for an hour or so to hopefully make it less sticky. They are so soft and melt in your mouth delicious! I will definitely be making these again!
Totally making these for Valentine’s Day!!
Becca- I hope you do. They are so delicious!

Kristyn- I love red velvet too! Hope you give them a try!
