I am so happy to have you joining us for our Bewitching Halloween Blog Hop with Balsam Hill. I am a fan of Halloween when it comes to cute decorations and sweet costumes for the kids. I think it is fun for kids imaginations to be able to dress up as something they enjoy.
So, when I decorate for Halloween, I always stay on the cute and sweet side. I much prefer that to the scary decorations…but I do love a good thriller and suspense movie.
I was pretty excited to participate today in Balsam Hill’s Halloween Blog Hop. Balsam Hill has some really great Halloween Decorations. I will thrilled to be able to add these fun Vintage Halloween Candy Bowls to my Halloween Decor. Aren’t they so fun?!
I also loved adding the twinkly Glass Pumpkin String Lights. They are so pretty and are battery operated so you don’t have worry about hiding an unsightly electrical cord.
Another fun addition to this Halloween Display is this Miracle Flame Battery-operated Pillar Candle. They are a safe way to add some fun and festive light to your home in the evenings.
I love black and white and so it is fun to take full advantage of that in this room during the Halloween Holiday. I usually have some colorful pillows thrown on these white couches…but it’s fun to bring out the black and white pillows and throw some colorful pops of fall in here.
We are almost ready to celebrate the Halloween Holiday here. We will be doing the usual Trick-or-Treating. Most of my kids have outgrown Trick-or-Treating and like to spend the evening with their friends at their own parties…so we just have our Little Red Riding Hood this year!
What about you? Do you enjoy decorating for Halloween?

I always wanted to be a cat for Halloween. My mom would make my costume out of flannel. I would wear the costume as pajamas till tney would wear out or I’d outgrow them.
That is so great!
One of my favorite Halloween memories was going to a costume party when I was in grade school. I think it was so memorable because I won the prize for the best costume (I dressed up like a little old lady).

My favorite Halloween memory is of a party we had at my school when I was in second grade. My teacher made the classroom into a mini-carnival. We bobbed for apples, played the fishing game and had a cake walk. It was so much fun, and a vivid memory to this day!
How fun! Great memory.
My favorite Halloween memory was when I did a DIY costume. I used the large pumpkin lawn bags for leafs, with the pumpkin face on it and cut out holes for my legs and arms and then I stuffed it with pillows. I was the only one with that costume and the pillows made me look like a giant pumpkin.
One of my favorite memories is when my son was two and told this one neighbor that he was the bestest ever for having a full sized candy bar.
Full-Sized Candy bars are the BEST!
My most favorite memory is my son’s very first Halloween he was 8 months old and we dressed him up as a teddy bear. He crashed out on us after only two houses lol.
That is adorable!
One of my favorite Halloween memories was getting a soda for a “treat” from our neighbors who gave them out every Halloween.
That would have been the best thing ever! So fun!

One of my favorite Halloween memories is my son winning the costume contest at school in a (very) last minute pirate costume when he was in kindergarten. Love your site and thank you for the giveaway!
My favorite costume was one my mother made for my sister – a Winnie the Pooh. It was so warm and cozy she wore it for pajamas for years after.
My favorite Halloween memory is dressing up at school and having a costume parade and carnival every year!
