HARD BOILED EGGS
If you have a difficult time peeling your Hard Boiled Eggs, this method is going to be a Game Changer! If you are one to meal prep, this is super quick! It is especially going to come in handy this Easter, with all the egg dyeing and deviled eggs that you are going to be making. You can check out my deviled egg recipe! It is the perfect way to use your fresh hard boiled eggs!
TIPS FOR PEELING HARD BOILED EGGS
There is nothing more frustrating than trying to peel a hard boiled egg, only to have the shell stick and rip off pieces and parts of your egg white. Not only is it super frustrating…it can also create really ugly egg whites if you are trying to make deviled eggs. Although they still taste great, they aren’t as pretty to look at! I am sharing something I have learned over the years to help your eggs peel as easily as possible.- Use eggs that are a little older. Let them sit in your fridge for a few days before boiling them. The fresher eggs don’t peel as easily.
- Do not over boil your eggs. One thing about steaming your eggs in the Instant Pot, really creates eggs that are perfectly cooked. This also means that they are going to peel so much easier than a boiled egg! Every time I make my eggs in my Instant Pot, I have great results! I won’t go back to boiling them again!
- After your eggs are cooked, have a bowl of ice water ready and waiting. Plunge the eggs into the cold water and let them sit for several minutes. I always wait at least 10 minutes before peeling them.

SUPER easy to peel!!!
Becca- Glad you found them easy to peel! Love this recipe!
Thanks for the tips!! Hard boil eggs can be so tricky!
You are welcome! Glad you found them helpful!
I love this method, but had to adjust since we live at high elevation. If you live around 6,000-7,000 feet follow this same recipe, but adjust to 5 minutes on high pressure and 5 minutes for natural release and they still turn out perfectly.
Great tip! Thank you for sharing! I know it will be helpful to others!!
