CHOCOLATE SUGAR COOKIES
I am not sure why I never thought of making Chocolate Sugar Cookies before…. I mean seriously…Chocolate AND a Sugar Cookie combination makes for pretty much the best cookie combination ever! I feel like this is going to become our new favorite go-to cookie. We usually always make our favorite Soft Sour Cream Sugar Cookies.
But, I have to say…these are really good! They are soft and have a great chocolatey taste…like a brownie in a cookie form, but not as dense! If you are on a diet…you might want to stop reading…Right. Now! If you don’t have any self-control, you will need to find someone to take these off of your hands…you have been warned!
CHOCOLATE COOKIE RECIPE
The cookie dough is really soft. You may need to add just a little bit more flour (not more than a 1/4 cup) or it will change the consistency of the cookies. If the dough is too soft to handle, you can refrigerate the dough to make it easier to roll out. I also rolled the dough out between two pieces of floured parchment paper. Then I didn’t have any trouble rolling the dough out or getting the cookies onto the baking trays. You will also not want to over bake the cookies or they will not be soft and chewy.
