Names of Christ – Twelve Days of Christmas

12/12/2017

Create a spiritual family tradition this year for Christmas using Twelve Names of Christ. I thought it would be nice to start a simple Twelve Days of Christmas Activity for our family this year. When I found these Names of Christ Ornaments from Deseret Book, I thought they would be a perfect way to bring more Christ in our Christmas Celebrations.

Starting on December 13, we are going to read one Scripture (along with our Christmas Book Tradition) that pairs with one Name of Christ on an ornament. After we have read the scripture, we can place the ornament on our Christmas Tree.

Since there are 12 Names of Christ, we can do one name for each of the Twelve Days of Christmas and finish with our last name on Christmas Eve!

I love the idea of spending a little bit more time talking about our Savior Jesus Christ and focusing on the real reason for the Christmas Season!

So of course I wanted to make some pretty scripture cards to go with them. You can print some out for yourself as well by clicking on the links below.

I also thought it would be such a fun gift idea to give to a friend or neighbor!

*To get my names in the shiny gold foil, I used my Minc machine by Heidi Swapp which I shared a little more about here.

Phyllis-Our family likes to start the countdown before Christmas. But, it would be fun to do it after too. Thanks.
