How long will this last in the frig?
About 2-3 weeks in a proper air-tight container!
Any preference on using honey or maple syrup? Or possibly half of both?
I think either one would be fine! I am not a big fan of maple syrup so I wouldn’t choose that. But either one would work great!
How long does it keep in the refrigerator? And does this recipe double well? (I am thinking of making it as part of a Christmas package for my kiddo’s teachers this year.)
It should double and cook just fine! I would keep it 2-3 weeks refrigerated in an air-tight container!
Do you think molasses would work?
I absolutely love pumpkin butter, but have never made in in the crockpot. Gotta try this now! Thanks :)

I want to make this to share so I want it to taste as amazing as possible. Thanks!
Amber- So if you add maple it will give it more a maple flavor. I prefer the honey. But if you like maple, then that would be good too. As far as the apple juice vs cider, you can’t tell to much of a difference. It really just what you have on hand at home. Great questions. Enjoy!
