BANG BANG SHRIMP PASTA
It seems that most of us moms are super busy and find ourselves on the run a lot these days…especially in May. May is worse than December at our house as far as busy-ness goes. So I am always looking for easy dinner recipes that are also 30 minute meals! Today I am sharing a delicious recipe that is fast and so easy to make…Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta Recipe.
This is also one of those recipes my whole family loves to eat. If you are not a fan of shrimp, this can easily be switched up by throwing some cooked chicken in place of the shrimp!
You can also sub in your favorite Pasta if spaghetti is not your first choice. We have made this with Penne Pasta and it turns out just as yummy! So change it up according to your family’s taste preferences!

Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta
- 1 lb spaghetti or your favorite noodle
- 1 ½ lbs of shrimp peeled and deveined
- 1 ½ Tbsp. olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 3 tsp. paprika
- 1 Tbsp. parsley fresh
- salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup Thai sweet chili sauce
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 Tbsp. lime juice
- ¼ tsp. Crushed red pepper flakes
- ½ Tbsp. onion powder
Cook pasta and then drain.
While pasta is cooking, mix together the sauce ingredients until well blended and set aside.
Cook shrimp in skillet over medium heat. Add in other ingredients while the shrimp is cooking.
When cooked, remove from heat. Should take about 10 minutes (shrimp will be pink).
Toss together the shrimp, pasta and the sauce.
I love eating this as leftovers too…and I am not usually a big fan of leftovers! So that is a win-win for me. I can make dinner and then have my lunch ready to go for the next day!
Now go ahead and make some! I think you will love it! Let’s hope that May can calm down soon…or that school can come to an end because this momma is tired.
